09/23/2026   – An additional artifact was added to the artifacts tab regarding print statistics currently gathered, and comparisons are made across the accessible data from 2002 to 2026.

09/22/2026   – An additional artifact was added to the artifacts tab.  All previous editor's notes were concentrated into the Editor's notes tab, which is a significant work in progress. Our Tentative Publication Record list of holdings was updated. Another portion of this project was excerpted and compiled into a third Zenodo report.

09/20/2026   – the histories / questionnaires were reorganized by publication while retaining their original numerical designation for ease of reference. The publication Window Press Cat was added to the glossary. Retractions were issued to the essay The Consequences of a Recycling Bin for being factually incorrect. The map on the page titled A Tentative Publication Record was removed for being grossly simplistic. 

Furthermore, portions of this work have begun to be collected, condensed, and distributed via Zenodo. A link to these reports can be found on the essays page.

09/19/2026   – An essay titled Custodial and Donation History has been released alongside the essay titled Archival Feudalism here. It details at length how negotiations between myself and the University of Massachusetts, Boston archives collapsed. 

An essay titled The Consequences of a Recycling Bin has been published. 

A previously unreleased and unfinished interview with Riley Hammond, the Founding Editor-in-Chief of The Waterfront has been added. A disclaimer that a modified version of the essay On Morphology  has been added explaining this essay may potentially be modified and reprinted in Archival Outlook. A disclaimer has been added the exact publication date of Archives for Everyone(?) on September 24th. 

Additional photos were added to the photos page. Additional individuals were added to the glossary. An artifact regarding the publication No Infinite was added to the Artifacts tab. 

The research chronology of this website is laid out, and the 'home' tab is changed to the 'about' tab to more truthfully reflect its function. 

An Important Update: After speaking with Andrea Ward I have received permission to publish a very controlled six-copy research facsimile run of the original, unreleased Volume #20. These will, so far as my involvement goes, be the only print copies of Volume #21 as originally intended. Should others wish to reprint them, they are free to do so. I only wish to print a handful of copies in order to better understand how the publication fit into the period.  Copies will be given to Andrea, but beyond that will not be circulated for public consumption. 

I have also added a contacts page, for anyone who may have questions for me.

09/18/2026   – copyediting changes were made to our page about the history of volume #21 after several spelling mistakes were found in the original essay, and we also added in a link to the financial reconstruction page, given that the 2013 funding crisis somewhat overlaps with the period the original volume was operating in.

07/23/2026  – significant updates were made to my essay  A Tentative Publication Record after conducting a hand-count of every book in my possession, requiring much of the previous essay to be removed as factually incorrect. In its place was left a finding aid of hard copies currently held. This list does not, naturally, include exact numbers of duplicats or variants.

04/28/2026 – Acquistion Policy now available. 

Furthermore, I have recently acquired a copy of Writ Large from Spring of 2023. This, naturally, undermines my assumption that the 2022 release "Mind Over Matter" as documented on the "photos" page was the last issue. Note the fact that the Fall 2022 volume of The Watermark was the last, but Writ Large continued for almost an entire academic year after, despite being in theory the non-fiction op-ed journal. The article has been updated accordingly to reflect this new discovery regarding the Spring 2023 Writ Large, but please note it will take time to comb over the entire site in detail to adjust all references to reflect the 2006-2023 lifespan of Writ Large / LUX.

04/23/2026 – Today I met with a private collector / holder of Watermark journals, who, after being given access to the website to check the nature of their Questionnaire in the ‘Histories’ tab, insisted on donating copies of The Watermark which they had laying around in their home. Rather than just take their copies from them, I insisted first on a set of trades of copies I held in duplicate. This was declined, but when I offered a copy of my own editorial work, Issue #1 of Triptych, a happy deal was quickly struck. As a result I have been gifted:

Furthermore, I have also acquired a copy of Volume #7 of Howth Castle on Amazon for $20, and a copy of Volume #2 on AbeBooks for $14. This brings my holdings of that publication to Volumes #2, #6, #7, and #8
