The above map does, to the best of my ability and knowledge, map out the student and faculty literary output from 1971 to 2026. The Watermark remains the central defining pillar, but parallel publication runs exist(ed). The inclusion of The Nantucket Review (1971-1987s?) came at the revelation that one of the Founding Editors-in-Chief, Dick Burns, taught at UMass Boston "for several years in the 80s". I have been unable to find any records of this on campus beyond 2 volumes of The Nantucket Review, and a few others online which I have begun to buy. Note also that this map is already incomplete due to the discovery of two 2009 journals in a free bookshelf on campus: 1 copy of a 2009 "Trotter Review" and 1 copy of "The Discourse of Sociological Practice", also from 2009. I am at the time of writing still doing the necessary background research on them both to situate them historically, but it appears that around 20 years ago departments were printing their own hardcopies of academic journals now only hosted on ScholarWorks, if at all.
